Complex needs.
Expert care.
Real life.
Participants with more complex support needs deserve more than a provider that can manage — they deserve one that genuinely has the experience, training and approach to help them live well.

High Intensity Supports explained plainly
High Intensity Daily Personal Activities are NDIS-funded supports for participants whose daily living requires more than standard personal care. This might include health-related support tasks that require specifically trained staff — things like managing certain medical equipment, supporting specific clinical needs or responding safely to health-related situations.
Not every provider can offer this
NDIS High Intensity registration is distinct from standard registration. We hold it — and we take the responsibilities that come with it seriously.
Specifically trained staff
Each High Intensity Support requires appropriate staff training and documented competency — not just general experience.
Delivered within clinical guidance
We work under the oversight of treating health professionals and follow their plans, protocols and recommendations.
Built around the person
Despite the complexity, the goal remains the same as any other support: helping someone live a life that's genuinely theirs.

Complex support. Person-centred always.
High Intensity Supports are more complex — but the person behind them isn't. They still have goals, relationships, communities and a right to live a life that's genuinely their own.
Dignity above all
Every support — no matter how complex — is delivered with full respect for the person receiving it. Dignity isn't something we fit in around clinical tasks. It's the starting point.
Choice and control
Complex support needs don't reduce a participant's right to choice and control. We work hard to ensure participants remain the decision-makers in their own lives.
Independence as the goal
High Intensity Supports exist to enable independence — not replace it. We look for opportunities to build capability and confidence alongside providing safe, expert care.
Individually designed
There's no standard template. Every participant's support is designed around their specific health needs, personal goals and daily life — not a generic plan.
Safety without compromise
Appropriate training, regular competency assessments, clear protocols and close collaboration with health professionals. Safety is never an afterthought.
Real life, not just support
Participants with complex support needs still have community, relationships and goals. We support the whole person — not just their health requirements.
A participant with complex support needs is still a full person with a full life ahead of them. That never changes — and it shapes every decision we make.
The groundwork that makes complex support possible
Confidence in High Intensity Supports comes from what happens behind the scenes — training, governance, planning and communication. Here's what we have in place.
Thorough staff training
Support workers delivering High Intensity Supports complete appropriate training specific to the participant's needs — before providing that support.
Ongoing competency assessments
Training alone isn't enough. We maintain ongoing competency assessment processes to ensure staff remain capable, current and confident.
Individualised support plans
Every participant has a clear, documented support plan developed in collaboration with health professionals, families and the participant themselves.
Collaboration with health teams
We work closely with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals and treating specialists — following their clinical guidance and keeping them informed.
Risk management
Identified risks are documented, mitigated and reviewed regularly. We don't improvise — we plan, and we update that plan as things change.
Clinical governance
Our delivery of High Intensity Supports sits within a clear governance framework — ensuring accountability, documentation and consistent quality.
High Intensity Supports are a team effort
No provider delivers complex support well in isolation. The best outcomes happen when everyone involved — participant, family, health professionals and support team — is communicating clearly and working towards the same goals.
Participants
Central to every decision. Their goals, preferences and right to choice shape everything we do.
Families and carers
Involved throughout — as partners in planning and key members of the participant's wider support network.
Support Coordinators
A vital link. We communicate clearly and consistently to keep everyone aligned.
Nurses and clinical staff
We work within their clinical guidance and maintain open, professional communication.
Allied health professionals
Physiotherapists, OTs, speech pathologists and others — we follow their plans and refer when needed.
Treating medical teams
Hospital discharge planners, GPs and specialists — collaborative relationships from day one.
